Managing customers
Add customers, fix their details and see their history. Remove the personal data of a customer who asks to be deleted with a single tap.
Customers are saved automatically when you check in a job. All your saved customers are on the Customers page in the left menu, with their last job, total number of jobs and contact details.
Adding and editing customers
With New customer you can create a record before opening a job, too. On a customer's page, use Edit to change their name, phone, email, address and notes.
- If you choose Business customer, you're also asked for the tax number and tax office.
- Province and district are picked from a list; a misspelled district isn't saved.
- If the phone number you type is already saved for another customer, the form warns you and links to that customer. You won't save the same person twice.
When the name or phone changes, job search finds them by the new details.
WhatsApp consent
If you've connected your WhatsApp number, a WhatsApp messages switch appears on the page of any customer with a saved mobile number. Turn it on if the customer has agreed to get updates on WhatsApp; automatic notifications then go to them on WhatsApp first. If the customer taps the Stop notifications button in a message, the switch turns off by itself and notifications continue by SMS. Details: Connecting WhatsApp.
Deleting a customer
The business owner and managers can remove a customer with Delete customer on the customer page. What happens depends on the customer's jobs:
| Situation | What happens |
|---|---|
| No jobs at all | The record is deleted completely. |
| Has a device in the shop | Not deleted. Hand over or cancel the job first. |
| Only has closed jobs | Their personal data is removed: the name becomes "Deleted customer"; phone, email, address, tax details, notes and their name on signatures are cleared. |
For a customer whose personal data was removed, the jobs, quote amounts, dates and warranties stay in your records; your accounts and reports aren't affected. This can't be undone.
Use this button if your customer asks for their data to be deleted under KVKK. If you have invoice records you're legally required to keep, keep them in your own accounting system.
